My process for ripping vinyl and a quick hello to the vc!

In this one I go over my process for ripping vinyl to digital or creating "needledrops" I also say hi to some of the good folks in the vc.

Not a bad process! I do turntable-stereo receiver-pc-sony vegas-16bit 44.1 wave-320 mp3. I use a modern receiver with built in preamp to keep the noise down and have used a couple PCI audio cards but now using the onboard sound like you. I personally don't care to record vinyl, the results are always sub par in my opinion. Nothing beats the live experience of the vinyl! but I'll do it to preserve an album or for my uncle. I haven't taken the extra steps to take out the pops and clicks. Hey thanks for the shout out, wasn't expecting that!

Ever watch my video on ripping? I almost feel like I overdo it compared to your nice and simple method. Thanks for the shoutout - there are a few digital only VC members - the VC isn't a thing only for vinyl, its really all about records in general. Nowadays people just listen to singles on their phone at best - enjoying a whole record is a quaint thing of the past - vinyl just encapsulates that the best.
