For those who don’t know, there was a prequel manga for jujutsu kaisen which had Yuuta as the main character, it was 4 long chapters thats getting made into a movie and releasing December 24th 2021, Gege Aukutami, the writer of jujutsu kaisen never intended to write beyond the point of the prequel manga

his name also mentioned by panda when megumi introduced all of the second year's students to nobara. that time, maki asked megumi, why he looked so gloomy more than usual, when it wasn't even a funeral. panda came out and told maki that there really is a person from the first year that was died. maki got mad and said "why didn't you tell me beforehand? now i look like a cold heart demon bla bla..." ((something like that)). and then maki said "is it really okay to spoil them.", then panda's matchmaker soul came out, and said "she's much more calmer when yuuta's around tho." ((something like that)). and his name was mentioned too when jujutsu high kyoto's students arrived at jujutsu high tokyo. mechamaru did mention his name.
