These three boxes have recently been cut free from the undergrowth that has hidden them for years. The first box is a Type 28 that housed an Anti Tank Gun, with the second box a type 24 very close by. The final box is also another type 24 that until recently has been almost completely buried. They were a part of the GHQ stopline following the River Medway from the River Thames estuary, to the source of the river encompassing other stoplines and hundereds of boxes that go on to Oxford. All of the boxes of various types were in sight of each other to give supporting fire in case the German invasion happened.
