Baringo MCAs move to court to challenge rejection of BBI bill at the county assembly last week

A section of Baringo ward representatives have moved to court to challenge the rejection of the Building Bridges Constitutional (Amendment) Bill 2020 by the assembly last week.
The case was filed at the High Court in Kabranet town by lawyer Gordon Ogolla under a certificate of urgency to stop certification of the process.
The petitioners in the case are ward representatives; Ameja Zelemoi –(Churo Amaya ward), Ernest Kibet of Kabarnet, Betty Birchogo (Kanu Nominated), and Vincent Korir, the former Former Simo Kipsaram MCA.
