Episode 63: Dragging anchor and surviving rough seas to safety

This episode Cass and Shelly continue their adventures as they are awoken by their anchor alarm. They quickly rushed up top, raised anchor and started motoring to a safer anchorage. This resulted in braving rough seas on the west coast of Leros. We knew it would be bad but this was more than we could imagine! Join our adventure around a Greek island

Anchorages:
Lakki Bay, Leros

Cass and Shelly, what a wild ride. Cass says "Hang on." Shelly says "Ha ha ha". Glad you guys made it, but it just shows the kind of weather your boat can take and now you have that experience under your belt. Thanks for taking me along for the ride.

Can I suggest if it's not something you normally do, putting a shackle or padlock through the outboard clamp lugs to prevent them rattling loose or theft in the case of a padlock. Cheers.

Great job handling some sporty seas! Is the anchor alarm that woke you on your chart plotter, or do have another one down below at night?
