That is delft Island of Sri Lanka shown in this video, Not the katchatheevu.. Katchatheevu island was a part of ancient Sri Lanka until the conquest of northern of Sri Lanka by the Portuguese. There is a rock inscriptions to prove that the island was under the command of ancient Sri Lanka .
