"Dark Visions of Torment" is Abolition Ritual's debut necrotic passage into the unknown.
In just over 16 minutes, Abolition Ritual made some of the biggest sounding, fuzziest and despairing death/doom for the entire year - and when I say doom I mean fucking doom. Their music rarely ever touches on mid-tempo riffs, let alone fast-tempo. They make you feel like you are chained to the bottom of the ocean, drowning in all of your horrors. What about their high-tempo riffs, you ask? Well, you'll have to listen to it for yourself, because the band absolutely nails the contrast between their sluggish and thundering riffs.
