‘Absolute gross miscarriage of justice’: Trump bond lowered by $289 million with more time

A New York state appeals court is allowing former President Trump to post a smaller bond of $175 million within 10 days in. Civil rights attorney David Henderson and former New York Assistant Attorney General Tristan Snell have the latest updates.

I just finished law school and what they've said here is exactly why I was profoundly depressed my last two years. It's all a joke, smoke a mirrors and not getting to see behind the curtain / bar and when you do get to, you have to praise the Emperor's new clothes and be a part of the injustice parade charade. Some lawyers have written about this problem but such truths do not change the system merely tell it as it is.

I told my wife that this would happen. That some his powerful friends or associates would make something happen on his behalf before the deadline. Sickening. Just as he's made America hate again. He's also showing them how to commit crimes and not be held accountable.
