its crazy to think that in like 20 years, our kids will be opening heritage packs of the designs we grew up with. Time really does fly.

the first baseball card show I went to was in 1984 a dealer had a whole page of 1971 Nolan Ryan cards 50 cent each. also saw a 1952 Topps Mantle in about VG for $1500. Great memories

How can you determine short prints on the heritage cards?

As a graphic designer, I find the fact that you think they took the photos 1 or 2 weeks ago and then completed the set is simply hilarious. Design > Production > Proofing > Printing > Distribution is not a 1 or 2 week process. It isn't even a 1 to 2 month process.

i like the look of these. i have a good memory of the real ones, family was camping at some campground in pennsylvania, my dad and myself went to camp store for some reason and they had these cards, we ended up buying a whole box, and then after getting back to camper spent the next half hour or so opening all the cards and chewing the gum. campground was sort of funny as well, they had some motorcycle event going on, all day long motorcycles buzzing up and down every road in the camp, you had to be careful crossing (i was 6 yrs old at the time)

You can tell which photos were taken this year or Photoshopped by the jersey. Majestic jerseys means it was taken last year during spring training. Nike jerseys mean it was this year.

They are still in Majestic Uniforms and some have the MLB 150 patch... Definitely last years spring training

Always loved the 1970 cards as a kid. They were hard to come by, as I didn’t start collecting until the late ‘70’s

Im curious and hope someone can answer this, why buy a hobby box for around $100 when you can spend the same amount on 5 blaster boxes and get almost 150 cards more? Is it cause of just that one relic/auto card? Cant you get the same parallels in every packaging variation?

I like the Black Bordered Cards. I would like Topps to go back to using borders on their regular set. Another great break and some sweet pulls!

I have no interest in Topps retro design sets. Based on how much 2019 Heritage and Archives is still on the shelf at retail stores, neither is anyone else. Price point is way too high for what you get.

Love the design, glad they brought this design back. I wonder how the base cards will handle being in a box unsleeved for 30+ years. Lol
