Amazing First Impressions of ILOILO Philippines 🇵🇭

My first impressions of IloIlo Philippines Land of smiles. Today I finally land in IloIlo and give you a condo tour of where I stay in the Philippines, then we go to Madge Cafe a famous Coffee shop in IloIlo and do a food trip down to Chow king as well. I visit the beautiful Calle Real and explore IloIlo some more and finally walk down IloIlo River Esplanade

Iloilo City is a walkable city. You can just walk wherever you want to go. The first Esplanade is in Iloilo. They incorporate it in other cities even in Boracay for people to have a venue to walk. Check out old churches here and the different Plazas. We tried to preserve our heritage. And don't forget to try our local food and batchoy, just let them know that you don't eat pork. They will offer you beef batchoy. And our seafoods. Enjoy you stay in Iloilo.

Iloilo is part of Panay Island shared by three other provinces Antique, Aklan, Capiz each of the provinces have their own distinct languages but each would be able to understand Filipino (essentially tagalog) because it is one of our two official languages the other one being English. but the way they speak Tagalog has an accent that if you're a native tagalog speaker it will be easy for us to pick up not only the fact that you're from the province but from what province you are. it will be easy for us to pick out a person is from Iloilo by the way they speak Tagalog

Iloilo speaks Bisaya but not cebuano spoken. We always put in our mind that waray, Bol anon & other languages in Visayas Region are Bisaya too. Thus Cebuano spoken in Mindanao are not Bisaya! They're Cebuano spoken Mindanaoans
