What the Heck is This Doing Here?!?!? #opel #opelgt #junkyard

Found this 1969 Opel GT out in the yard. The body looked fairly straight, but the interior was trashed and the engine was missing its valve cover so the rocker arms were developing rust on them. Still, this was probably the rarest car I've ever found at the junkyard. I tried to buy the entire car, but they said they were not allowed to do so. We'd have to take the car apart and buy it in pieces, but with unibody construction, it's impossible to buy the chassis and body separately.
