As an 80’s kid, I was more into Billy Idol, Devo, Madonna, & all the big hair bands. But as a mature woman of 2024, I can now fully appreciate gems such as this! It’s truly an outstanding song!

The two ladies doing backup vocals could go on tour themselves. What a in the 60's with White Room, 70's with Layla, and 80's with She's Waiting. All three songs were memorable for me at different stages of my life.

The 1980s were so great for guitar players Clapton, Robert Cray, Mark Knopfler etc. Great times. I saw Clapton on the journey man tour and he played this song.

That second solo is the cleanest and here's why: The way he mixed the A major & minor pentatonic scales is almost inseparable. You can't tell the difference between the two like that! Just insane!
