A friend of mine drove 251s during the war. Our reenactment group obtained and reconfigured 3 OT-810's and before he passed, he helped train the drivers. One tip he gave them right away was, NEVER wrap your thumbs around the steering wheel to grasp it. If you strike something or drive into a rut, the wheels can jerk violently. If your thumbs are on the inside of the steering wheel the cross bars can break them if the wheel jerks. Use only your fingers to grasp the wheel and steer from the bottom.

She's a beauty!
That's one hell of a collection there and a massive building.

It has a very smooth sounding engine, considering it's 80 years old.

It is amazing that any of these vehicles survived the scrapheap. I cringe to think of how many of these useful and historic vehicles were simply destroyed after the war or after having been surrendered.

4:20 what a great shot, can almost imagine that's how some soldiers must've hastily clambered in

I remember these being made by Tamiya along with the 88 mm gun. Nice to see the inside of one.

Wow. Amazing! What first strikes me is how vulnerable the vehicle appears! Do we wonder how the soldiers manage to survive the harsh realities of the battlefields of World War II. Thank you, for sharing with us.
