When Edexcel forgets to put parametric integrations in the book and expects us to understand it

Thanks for these videos! I just have a couple of questions:
1) At 3:38, why is t=pi/2 and not also 3pi/2? and same question for the other limit, why isn't that 2pi? would we be given ranges for t in the real question?
2) At 5:04, what do you do if you got a negative y value e.g. -1, when you put in an intermediate t value?
Thanks again!

Thanks, I went through few videos and this is the first one I actually started to understand the topic.

In the last step before you integrated sin^2TcosT, where did the cosT go?

Thank you so much for these.
Are you ever going to look at OCR Papers? x

As far as I can see it is not on the AQA specification for C4

Is this in the A level maths specification? I can't find this in the textbooks or the CGP guides.

Hi there, awesome video! If we plugged in a value for t and it gave us that y=-1, what would we then do differently? How would it change our method or answer?
Thanks

Many thanks for your amazing videos, they are a massive help.

In this video when testing which way we go round the curve, if it was the opposite direction we want to go ie when y= -1, how would we change the direction?

THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are such an amazing teacher.

How we will make the graph like a loop when we have given the function of that?

what if you dont recognise that sin^2tcost is the differential of sin^3t? is there any other way to integrate it?

why don't you integrate sin2t instead of changing it to 2sintcost? Or can you not integrate sin2t?

Can anyone tell me what the name of this curve is and how it is traced?

How did you know it was sin^3t to start with?

Also is it not possible to integrate sin^2tcost by parts? That was the method that i had initially thought of lol

6:12 what are we supposed to do if y=-ve number instead?

Can you switch the upper and lower limit and put a negative sign in front of the integral?
Thanks!
