Interesting. As someone with an ED you are never 100 percent recovered. You physically can be stable but it’s a life long battle if you truly have an ED. Some people go through extreme restrictive dieting phases, but an ED stays in your head forever. It’s constant maintenance and having to make sure you aren’t falling into bad habits again. The voices don’t just go away.

As someone who grew up with a very very thin mother it does have an impact but also ED’s just like alcoholism are genetically passed down. You have a higher rate of developing anorexia nervosa if your grandmother or mother or great grandmother (or father or grandfathers men suffer too) struggled with one. It’s a nervous disorder, it’s not about the body it’s about control and when you stop eating a chemical is released that lowers your anxiety so that can become addictive to someone who runs anxious.

Rinna is so delusional, she never considered her eating disorders (eat a piece of bread) played a role in her daughter's ED. How was she unaware her daughter had achieved a year of being healthy. Had her other daughter not told her, she would have continued being blissfully unaware. What does she do next? Encourage her daughter with a history of ED to move to NY (alone) to pursue a modeling career. No support system, high risk to relapse and modeling is one of the worse careers possible for someone with EDs.

She is detached from her daughters. There have been posts about her refusing to cover them on her health insurance and helping pay for medication. When it comes to her daughters, she should start with the stick woman in the mirror. As much as she drinks there's no way she naturally than thin.
