Lisa’s New Song Snippet Sounds Familiar

It's exactly the same and is clearly sampling, I'm just surprised we're even getting a third offering from Lisa. There has never been a Blackpink solo era with more than 2 songs and I really want Lisa to break this pattern. Hopefully the release of this song has an MV and 8 song album attached to it.

I didn't miss the part where Lisa left YG. At this current moment, she has not released the third song and broken the pattern yet. There is still a ton of time for her to put out more music and we're only STARTING to see the fruits of Lisa having more creative freedom. Only time will tell what happens next.

sixpence none the richer's "kiss me" is one of my favorite childhood bops since it reminds me of an iconic polish commercial from 2008/2009 that promoted a 7-grain yogurt (it's delicious!!) and the song that i've mentioned would play in the background for 30 seconds. i'm really happy lisa is going to cover "kiss me" and with that she will bring back that small memory of mine from the past!!

I feel like she is using hit songs/ samples to get easy more views and attention, in my opnion if you can't make your own original sounds/song with that samples then don't use it in the first place.
