Props to my grandmother who would go hunt down a lot of the games for me as a kid when I’d ask for a game that was 2-3 years old at the time of me asking for it. And it was before the internet was like it is today. She had to have physically gone to multiple gamestops and ask if they had the certain game I was wanting.

i use to love just staring at the pics and reading everything on the gamebox the ride home getting even more pumped to play! the raw, wrestlemania, day of reckoning, games dont get enough respect they were all great games for those times and systems. this vid really took me back thanks for sharing😄

The first Smackdown vs Raw in 2004 is the OG version for me and still is after all those years. Awesome soundtracks and gameplay. It was the culmination from previous releases and it delivers a lot. Those were the days like GTA SA, MGS 3 Snake Eater, Shadow of the Colossus and many more during 2000's.

Smackdown: SYM! was the first WWE game to feature a unique grapple system. If you look closely, most moves executed seamlessly 1:12 (Sideslam by taker) without a proper grapple animation. Sadly, they removed it from the next games probably because of reversal issues. But it looked perfect.
