Man arrested in connection with March 31 attempted kidnapping

Anaheim Police have charged Andrew Pio in connection with the attempted kidnapping of a 13-year-old girl who was on her way home from middle school March 31. He was detained Friday afternoon, following a lengthy pursuit through Orange County.

Damn, this is scary. I remember being followed home from school by a group of men in a white truck when I was in junior high, too. It was scary as hell. I trembled for the rest of the walk, too. My heart goes out to this poor girl. I am happy she was able to escape.
