They are working artists and found a singer that can continue the legacy of the band and Chesters, but also thinking of the future, and found a powerful singer that can sing Chester's songs and honor them with justice, but also fits perfectly with the style and genre.

In honor of Chester, the dream that is Linkin Park lives on. Chester is irreplaceable, Emily is not filling his shoes. Shes writing the next chapter with his band for him, helping his brothers move on from their tragic loss and keep their dream alive. Its ok to hate it, you still need time to process your pain too. Watching this made me cry. Realization finally hit me after 8 years that Chester is gone. Cuz no one could bring those emotions of Linkin Park lyrics like he did. His voice carried so much depth, soul, emotions and stories. He'd always be Linkin Park to me.

The new singer is actually great on her own way but yeah you get what im saying. Props to her for taking this chance despite the great pressure shed be dealing with
