Karen Read trial: Defense accuses prosecution witness of perjury

A bombshell accusation to start off week two of testimony in the Karen Read murder trial. Defense attorney David Yanetti claiming Canton firefighter Katie McLaughlin lied on the stand during her testimony last week. This came before the first witness of the day took the stand.

This courtroom is a mess. All these 1/2 days and interruptions and no mic at the podium.

Yeah, it's quite apparent that Katie is lying. There's pictures from 2021 and one even later if I remember correctly. She's only saying what Jen McCabe instructed her to say but nonetheless, she said it. She's the only person to say Karen said she hit him.

Pictures of them together on a beach in 2016 drinking and partying over the 4th of July. Just saw it. She is definitely a liar. Anybody wants to see it I can tell you where you can find it.

Anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear could have told you exactly who Katie is

She definitely did lie everything out of her mouth was a lie. She tried to downplay her relationship with that girl making a belief. She’s just an acquaintance, but yet she’s at all these events, but yet she can’t remember what they were for or what beach she was at it was so obvious what she was trying to do, she’s not an acquaintance. She’s a friend maybe not an intimate friend, but I think they are but still a friend not an acquaintance like she was trying to portray.

Yeah, that’s right. Accuse literally everyone on the planet (except your client, of course) of anything and everything. But hey - it’s working great so far, right? I wanna see the multiple text strings or phone calls between ALL of these EMTs, popo, firefighters, judge, prosecutors, witnesses, bystanders, partygoers, coroner, ER/medical staff, snow plow driver - I want to see all of these communications showing they all conspired and colluded to “frame” one person. Let’s see it. It’s not the defense’s job to prove innocence but if you’re gonna continue this years-long campaign of ACCUSING people of serious crimes with serious penalties, then bring the PROOF, and photos from high school are not gonna cut it.
