I dont know much about one piece but even I know "im sensing a bit of tension amongst the crew" sounds more like MCU dialogue than luffy of the strawhats.

I am actually impressed with it all so far. CGI will always look like CGI to me. For what it is I think it’s awesome

Live action offers no advantages over animation. Especially to a series as bananas as One Piece.
