Hsiung Sheng missile to enter mass production this year

Amid growing Chinese pressure, Taiwan will start mass production of the Hsiung Sheng surface-to-surface missile this year. The missile is an extended-range variant of the Hsiung Feng IIE missile. With an estimated range of 1,000 to 1,200 kilometers, it can travel far enough to reach China''s Central Theater Command.
