Re your question on the "black cladding": WAY too much of it; takes away from the "upscale" goal of the car. Note: As a Toyota salesman, your enthusiasm for Toyota vehicles and brand are understandable. For non-Toyota cars, it can come across as a bit disingenuous. Maybe for a general format for these reviews, you could have a "likes and dislikes" summary so you can balance your views. Just an idea...

If not for all the plastic, there would be 1 in my garage. Unfortunately, I just cannot deal with how much that ridiculous amount of cladding cheapens an otherwise nice looking design. If they eliminated 2/3 of it, it would be acceptable.

Mazda has to be deaf not to hear the gripes about it, since it seems to run about 100 to 1 against. Either that, or they just don't care because they've had enough model years to correct that hideous design flaw.
