I have great memories of seeing Rob, for the first time, in our local comprehensive school yearly stage musical ie. Guy's and Dolls. My daughter was in the chorus with all her friends. Ruth Jones was on the same stage. I think it was his last year before leaving for Drama college. It was obvious, even then that he was going to be a great actor/comic.

I had the pleasure of teaching him A level English for one year. It was so obvious that his humour and talent would feature prominently in his life. Now, what a gift he is to the world of entertainment!
