I use a iPhone 12, not even a 12 Pro and it still runs like it did on day 1. The 16 Pro is just not tempting enough.

I love the iPhone 14 Pro particularly in Silver. Nothing beats the luxurious look of that stainless steel compared to the boring titanium.

“why am i still using this phone in 2024?” you’re acting like you’re using a 10 year old phone. haha

I think of the iPhone 14 Pro and pro max as the last “classic” iPhone now because it was the last flagship iPhone with the lighting port and the stainless steel sides

We gotta stop acting like a phone needs to be upgraded every 2 years... We all know there isn't that big of a change year over year with the smartphone market maturing.

Like you I also plan to stick with my iPhone 14 Pro purple for foreseeable future. My phone’s battery health is at 89%, but weirdly after installing iOS 18 it seems to be lasting a bit longer at times and getting me through my work day without charging again. It does feel bulky when compared to the 15 pro, but I seem to like the heft since I have been using it last 1.9 years

I still have my 13 Pro Max. I’m at 95% health since I got the battery replaced about a year ago. I’ll be upgrading either next year or the year after

Only downside is the battery…with heavy usage💯👍🏿

I've also had my 14 Pro for years now and I've kept mine on iOS 16 (only updated it a few times and stopped at 16.6) it runs super smooth still and I'll only upgrade once my phone runs out of storage, battery life gets super bad, or if my screen gets too scratched up.
I never trade in my old phones (or even sell/give them away) because I like keeping all my memories on them without wasting space on my new(er) devices.

I got the 14 pro right around the release. It was my first pro version of the iPhone and one thing that really threw me off when I got it was actually the weight. The one thing take could make me update is how much lighter the new versions are. My wife has the 13 mini, and we have a iPhone 6 still floating around and I miss how light that phone was. I’d trade out Magsafe for the old school aluminum back in a heartbeat.

Bought it back when it was released. Now at 87% Battery Health after 2 years of usage. I would say that I am a very light user. I use my device as a tool/as a productivity device. I do carry a portable charger with me everywhere I go. But thats ok. This device will get another 4 years of iOS updates for sure. So I am gonna stick with it till iPhone 20 I guess

I’m still on my 14pro max and I love it !
Don’t see a reason to upgrade to a 15 or 16 if the only thing different is a button on the side and smaller bezels .

I loved my 14 Pro Max. It’s still more powerful than what I need it to do. The only reason I upgraded this year is because my wife was upgrading from her 12 Pro and the carrier deals mean it’s free for the both of our phones. My 14’s battery health was also at around 85% and it was starting to get annoying for me too. Also, finally completely getting rid of Lightning in my life was the biggest motivator. Now I’m set for the next 3-4 years.

1:07 I upgraded from the 13 mini after having since Xmas 21, to what you showed. $679 seemed like a great deal for my first ever pro device. I got mine last week

I got my 11pro for xmas after the 12 was already out, had to have midnight green. Personally I don't like the flat sides on such big phones despite the 4 being my fav body, my mum's 12 and 13 feel like bricks.

Still using it now even after several pretty expensive repairs - one where it didn't turn on and recently the battery stopping working.
I'd rather just keep using it despite it not being perfect anymore - I miss jailbreak themeing dearly but not enough to buy an old iphone on the right software.
But mainly why pay more for uninteresting upgrades when I actively try to use my phone less anyway.

not that u asked lol

Advantages:
- Cheaper by a few hundred $
- Stainless steel frame, looks more premium imo
- Has 90% of the iPhone 16 Pro’s features
- Is overall still an amazing phone
- If brand-new it still has excellent battery life
Disadvantages:
- Doesn’t get Apple Intelligence for some reason
- Thicker screen borders
- Stainless steel is not stainless, very fingerprinty once you use it for more than 3 months
- No Action Button, the Ring/Silent switch is kinda boring
- VERY heavy compared to even the 6.9” 16PM
Honestly, if you wanted to save money but still want Pro features, it’s perfect for you. But if you have money, get the 16 series.

Still somehow using a iPhone 7 Plus in 2024, it may be a bit slow but still works perfectly fine with the exception of battery life and maybe the rare compatibility issues with a few applications

got the iphone 14 pro in november 2022 and i still love it very much! my battery is at 86% i remember last year there was a time where i lost 1% of battery health every week for a month straight even tho i didn't use it more than usual (4 hours per day mostly) and i remember how much this annoyed me but besides that i'm still very happy with this phone :)
