You are absolutely right about rereading books. I second that. I feel like I should include The Bell Jar on my TBR. I was a little scared of Sylvia Plath, though I had Sylvia Plath's poems in my PG syllabus. By the way, I really like your BookTube.

The Bell Jar was very important for raising awareness about the obstacles that faced women at that time, but damn was Esther Greenwood the most insufferable protagonist I'd ever read. Still, I like that book well enough. There are so many books that I know I'll never forget. (The Girl Next Door: I know I'll never forget that, no matter how much I may want to! 😢) Great video though! 😊

Interesting picks. Never got into joan didian, but the bell jar hit me hard - particularly in how it treated the type of life that was layed out for me as a young student when i read it. The fig tree passage got me. It was a pretty great book.
I've meant to get to tristram shandy for a long time since i love pynchon and barth.

Já li "A redoma de vidro", da Sylvia Plath, é bem doloroso o conflito pelo qual a narradora - personagem está passando. Não me recordo o desfecho dessa narrativa. O que aconteceu a Esther Greenwood? 🤔
