"The best" in the title when the first thing you say is that you have no experience with the alternatives :/

I just bought them and they feel and sound great. The only con I would say is that the mic on the wire doesn’t have volume options. But they are the best earbuds I’ve ever owned.
EDIT: I’ve owned these less than a year and one side isn’t working anymore. I use them to sleep with and I’m sure that has worn them. Is there anyway I can fix that one side without buying new ones?

I honestly recommend spending a few bucks and getting the KZ ZSN if you need more low end and bass in your mix

This mic is way better than alot of premium earbuds I've heard off

I bought those used last week. By then, they were a few years old though, I'm not sure exactly how old. And they sound really great! It's as if they were brand new!

Same, I got the KZ ZSTs as my first pair of IEMs, the vocals definitely stand out clear with them. Bass is punchy, mids were a bit lacking for piano music (Walk through the park), treble was definitely on the crispy side, but FUN nonetheless, if given the chance to upgrade, KZ ZSN PRO Xs are the way to go, which I have gladly done. KZ ZSN PRO Xs have much STRONGER bass and much more balanced sound, Bass Mids and Treble were all well represented, but vocals don't stand out as much though with the KZ ZSN Pro Xs

KZ definitely the best at bang for your buck IEM, i just really hope they make proper bluetooth IEM with headband lol, since their bluetooth cable module is really annoying to use

I recommend the Kz Zsn Pro since it's has more balanced sound. Kz Zst already have the upgraded version the Kz Zst X

If these are your first IEM’s, get ready, from now on all conventional earphones would sound bad to you. When it comes to mics, they are not meant to actually be for talking, but to listen to music or if you play any instrument or sing, these are the ones you should go for.

Great job on the review!

Something.

I think you should talk about the wire being replaceable and alternative options as well. Look at Blon 03, Blon 05 and the tin t2

I play in a live band! Where there are drums and other loud instruments, how’s the isolation on these? Anyone know what DB they cut out!?

Idk what DAC that Sony Walkman uses. But if I were you I'd try using an external DAC and see if that helps the crunchy highs. Might just be the frequency limit like you said.

The answer is no. They are fine if you're just listening to some music and don't have any reference to what is good, but as soon as I played music from my external sound card with a guitar plugged in, they literally started to fizzle out. The clarity on them is ok, the bass is there, but in all honesty, I wouldn't use them for much more than a backup pair of headphones for listening to tunes here and there.

They are certainly 20 dollar level headphones...ie: trash
