What about the metal frame on the outside? It doesn't look good

If you have a bedroom space in the basement but the egress is located in the sitting room portion of the basement, is that legal? Or does the egress window have to be inside the actual bedroom?

I would love to just buy the window by itself. I want to update my basement windows and don’t need the steel frame. It doesn’t appear that you offer the window by itself.
