How to Use Beard Butter!

I have a big beard. Very very curly and dense. Just started using beard butter and I love it.

I use Olay Shea butter body wash as a face wash with a double wash on the beard. Works surprisingly well!

I thought with butter you should avoid the skin as the butters can clog pores and a more for hair?
