WOW so impressed and proud of you both!!! Yes ever since Covid this world and our country is changing way too fast and for the worst. I just love all your videos. I too am a hermit. I raised four awesome kids on my own though. Three boys and a girl. So I could only afford trips to tons of National Parks, sleeping in a tent and cooking over a camp fire. These times that we're in make anyone who cares about life and the well being of those that are close as generally frustrating as we don't have a glimpse of our future only a feeling of uncertainty and possible unwanted changes so to have control of your future is both a blessing and a scary scenario but if you were to sit and wait it could be to late and it's always good to know that you control what may be down that road nobody knows . We built our homestead 30 years ago. Our kids each have acreage in the country, we're all on wells and septics, kids are growing up with values, God is good! Yes about the current state of affairs but hope springs eternal. Seems like just the other day you were preparing to sell the family vineyard in California, but I expect that was before the authority grab. Blessings on your development there, may all go to plan and within budget. The hurtful reality is that now with our parents gone, time is drawing nigh for our kids to go through losing their parents. So every moment, every action, counts.

Love your story! My husband Michael and I share similar lifes journey . We are in our 60's married 42 years both born in San Jose California . We have 3 sons and 6 grandchildren . We are doing and feeling the same as you both.
We love to Rv, water sky, gardening, travel..
Love being free and self sufficient !!
We also bought 8 acres 4000 elevation in Jerseydale CA close to Yosemite National Park . It has been the best joyride . Our bird is The magical Raven .
