Hearing the original babooey sound effect, it even still feels edited. It’s the audio equivalent of that one image of Matpat with Ronnie and Gaijan Goomba that still feels edited, even if it’s the original.

Did you know? Knuckles' "Oh, no" is actually from an unused recording of dialogue from a beta build of Sonic Adventure. Sega just cut that segment out and used it for the damage sound, which explains why it sounds so weird, even for this game.

As a Sonic fan I really appreciate that since people always mix it up and call Sonic Adventure "Sonic Adventure DX" and Sonic Adventure 2 "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle" despite those just being remastered Nintendo Gamecube ports (though saying that they're really "remastered" can be debated, same goes for Sonic Colors Ultimate). This video and the first one are super useful and I'm glad you made them, finding out where these come from helps me understand a lot of the jokes more and makes them more funny, so that you for that.
