What he’s seeing was at different weight classes where he wasn’t elite. At 168 he’s dominant, undefeated and elite without stamina issues or sluggish movements like 175.

Bud knows if he takes a fight against a legitimate top 10 168 fighter he would either get smoked or look so bad that the fight would lose all interest. He can’t beat Caleb Plant, Mbilli, Iglesias, or Pacheco. He could maybe beat guys like Munguia and Berlanga? But they are still so massive and powerful where I would still consider it a fools bet.

It’s best for him to just grind for 7 months and get ready to give it his all in the Canelo fight.
