We are excited to announce the winner of our Solar Campaign Competition this Friday, 16 August, at 09h00 am South Africa Time (CAT).
Although we have not made our target of R3.5 million yet, to enable us to cover the cost of the solar plant for HERD, we would like to award one kind donor with the incredible prize now, in World Elephant Day month.
By donating "a ray of sunshine"—any amount over $50/R1000 —donors stand a chance to win a safari experience at Jabulani in our reserve. They will get to meet the elephants and experience the African sun for themselves. The prize includes two nights for two people sharing. No flights are included. * Terms and conditions apply.
We will conclude the competition this week and announce the winner on Friday. Be sure to tune in as we go live from the bush to select a winner in a live draw.
Thank you to everyone for their support so far. We are incredibly grateful for your help in securing a more sustainable home for the elephants we care for, and the carers who care for them.
