Can I Beat Satisfactory Without Leaving the Swamp? | Swamptopia #1

Welcome to Swamptopia!
I attempt the first ever swamp only challenge run in Satisfactory.
In episode 1, I learn the hard way that starting out in the swamp is a bad idea.

SWAMP ONLY RUN RULES:

• Cannot leave the swamp biome, according to the biome map.
• Can enter/exit caves from within the swamp, even if the cave extends beyond the swamp biome, as long as you do not exit the cave into another biome.
• Cannot use advanced game settings.
• Creature hostility must be left at default setting.
• Arachnophobia mode is not allowed.
• Cannot load a previous save unless the current save is corrupt.
• Cannot use any method to re-roll hard drives to obtain desired alternate recipe.
• Cannot interact with anything when travelling to the swamp at the start of the run, or if for any reason you respawn outside of the swamp.

Omg taking on an alpha stinger with just a zapper. Balls of steel there.
Even with Arachnaphobia mode on they freak me out.

Once got followed by two in the red jungle before i found out about Arachnaphobia mode, and those buggers seemed to full my whole screen. Even though well armed my heart pounded through my chest while getting the hell out of there.

Great entertainment, i'll be sure to check the rest of the serie and drop some likes. 👍

I can't say enough about how great this series is. This needs to be featured by Snut. I watched every episode with anticipation and excitement for what was going to happen next. You found the right formula with this one. Your delivery is perfect, pace is perfect, comedic element is perfect. I eagerly await more episodes. With 1500 hours in the game myself, I don't think I'd be ready for this challenge just yet. But maybe something similar. Thank you for your entertaining videos.

Flashback to when I saw a spider in a hole in a cave, thought I’d be clever and rebar it from afar. I had no idea they could leap until it was sailing through the air at me. Literally screamed.

At about 24:00 you were saying you don't have ladders yet. Yes, you do. Use stacked storage containers. Much better ladders as they have a platform at the top.

Been watching your vids in reverse order, and finally come to the first in the series and initially thought, "Yes, this seems like fun. Think I'll take you up on the challenge when v1 drops."..

Then I read the rules and listened to your narration while running to the swamp... Now I think, "Nah, you're a masochist. I'll just happily sit back and giggle at/along with you while watching you injure yourself instead."

i don't know if anyone will see this but if you need to traverse a cliff before unlocking ladders, use storage crates. They stack easily and form a continuous ladder as well as a platform to stand on at the top. they are cheap and you can que up their deletion as you climb them if needed. You can climb anywhere as long as you have enough to make 2 of them. You can place both and then climb up to the top one and then delete the lower one and repeat until you are where you wanna be.

Just started the swamp challenge about an hour ago. Gets real when you gotta go get copper. That early game paranoia after you've gotten jumped by spiders a couple times, tho...

I remember fighting 2 of the toughest rhino pigs in the desert. Not the irradiated ones, but I only had a zapper. It was nearly impossible, but I won when one of them shot the other with a rock and killed it.
