I was an addict for 26 years. In and out of rehabs. Been to jail more times than I can remember. Spent 5 years in prison. I had actually been clean for 3 months when I got saved but I was suffering with my addiction. It was a battle I fought and lost many times. After I surrendered my life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, He cured me from addiction. Like He made the lame to walk the blind to see. Like He can cure cancer He took my addiction. February 12 2020 I will celebrate 8 years sobriety. That is the grace and mercy of my God.

today, i was set free by the love of jesus christ and the grace of god in heaven. after 2 decades of spiritual and physical bondage. i was at the end of my rope. and jesus saved me. addiction, sadness, guilt, and countless other things held me in a pit. but no more. and for that. i give glory to god. in jesus christ my lord. today i publicly rejoice in my savior and boast not of myself but of the goodness of god.

I got saved and asked Christ into my heart this past week while on a mission trip in Guatemala. I am getting baptized on Sunday. Life feels so much better with Him.

This is exactly how I feel I have a relationship with Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior how could I want anything more. I have been a sinner. Can not say I am free of all sin. I can say that when I found Jesus I try to always think before I do something what would Jesus do? The things I used to find pleasure in I no longer find pleasure in if Jesus is not attached with that. I am so humbled by Jesus Grace and Love. I feel like the luckiest girl to know Him. And I am just beginning to know Him. I can not imagine the goodness that awaits as that relationship develops longer. Thank You Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior for everything. I mean EVERY THING for without You I have nothing. I am just very very humbled by Your Love Jesus.

It amazes me that God sent His one and only Son to come to this earth and live a sinless life and suffer and be separated from the Father and die on the cross because He loved me before I was even born.
