It makes sense that Briton is mentioned in the song. The Romans feared the Britons. A lot of actually believed that the Britons were supernatural. The Britons had an instrument, called the carnyx. The carnyx made a sound, which the Romans were convinced were caused by evil spirits. It also makes sense that they mentioned Mars, because, Roman soldiers brought spiritual protection as well as weapons. Roman soldiers actually spiritually fortified Hadrian’s Wall, especially, areas of Hadrian’s Wall which had the most amount of battles.
