what about scans by default - with no address book - isn't there an option to set a network location for all scans?

i buy an used printer model number MX-2314 and I tried to set scan folder on it but in the address book I can see a some folders with different path type like ip address, I ignore that and deleted and I set my folder and I tried to scan on it but i am getting an error. the thing is I am using same printer for printing from my local network. please help me .... if you can.
