Do you need MCprep to use Blender? Because I can't find the .zip and even if I do, it doesn't show up on the add-ons

When I downloaded both of them, like it didn’t show me the first part of Blender where you choose some weird right and left thingy.. (forgot what it’s called)

Anyway, it went straight to some page with like “open” and “new” on the top left corner, and an “active” “name” part fills the screen
