Belong to love
Please don’t bury us unless we’re seeds
Learn to forgive
You know very well it’s not easy
It’s so simple to read without living its meaning

Breathe, slow down, stand for something if not anything
Breathe, slow down, we could get closer without the yearning

Please believe me when I say
Someday, it’ll be ok

Please believe me when I say

That I know, that I know, we will get over it, only if we wanna
That I know, that I know, we will get over, only if we wanna

Please believe me when I say
Someday, it’ll be ok

Who are they when they meet?
Stone or lavender
Before the word is ever uttered
Was your leap deeper?
Show her clover and wildflowers when the soul is tired and needing
Do not grieve the idle time
Or all the moments that are ever leaving

Take me far away from myself
Rest, don’t rest like everyone else
I don’t wanna be small, I wanna be full of life
We can weave all things together and be alright

Please believe me when I say
That I know, that I know we will get over only if we wanna

Please believe me when I say
Someday, it’ll be ok

When Nai sings "I don't want to be small, I want to be full of life" I just lose it. What a beautiful song for a hurting, healing world. Thank you all ❤ 🌎

realizing hiatus could make a movie score if they were ever approached to do that

Such a crushing song to know that she wrote this in the midst of facing her mortality while dealing with breast cancer. Tear jerker fa sho. Absolutely beautiful song

This speaks to everyone going through something: “someday it’ll be ok” - just beautiful.

Even though the intention isn’t probably religious, this makes me feel close to God

It takes a lot to get me to cry to a song, but this did it. Bravo, Hiatus Kaiyote. Bravo.

Thank you for creating music for us, the empaths of the world that feel everything, music that heals, music with purpose, music that most won't understand but, music that is made for those that do understand ❤ Thank you

Definitely the most powerful song from the album. Felt like something different to what they've done before too. Loved it so much. Such an amazing bunch of people.

You can hear all of Nai’s influences from prince, to Aaliyah in this song. It’s so beautiful

Pentatonic impressionist vibes like Debussy’s “Girl with the Flaxen Hair”. This song brought me straight to tears on the first listen

"Please believe me when i say, someday it will be dont bury us unless we are seeds"
Nai's voice is something iv never heard before, so song invokes deep emotions.

Nai Palm is channeling some mid-to-late 90’s Mary J Blige in some moments throughout this masterpiece.

If this song brought a tear to your eye, Nai Palm's solo single "homebody" will make you weep

Being here when there's so few likes and comments isn't a flex, it's just nice to be here with a small community of people in the early hours of the morning appreciating magic.

The first time I heard this song, it broke my little heart. I think since I discovered HK its been a different world for me <3

This song is so… cathartic. This track differs from the rest of the album in that there’s no strange effects or heavy layers, it’s just Nai, a Piano, and later some strings. Every other track was superficial, taking us on this wild adventure of different ideas and soundscapes only to show us what this is all really about.
It’s like finding a friend, learning everything you thought you could know about them only to discover their deep internal struggles.
It makes me cry now, but someday, it will be okay.

The strings weep for me. I dont have any more tears left.

A song is amazing when you don’t have to pay attention to the lyrics or production even though it’s stellar in both aspects. The melody just gives you the feels.

Ok I’ll put it out there, I went through a bunch of shit the last couple of months, break up etc. And I almost forgot I pre ordered the vinyl for Mood Valiant. When it came I was in bits, the postman gave me a very concerned look. When this track came on I cried my eyes out, and afterwards I felt like I turned a corner.

So thank you, again, Nai and the boys.
