Sheltering From STORM in Turkey | Sailing Mediterranean Sea in Winter - living on the sea and sailing full time you see a lot. And especially during winter time our Sailing Mediterranean experience in Turkey has brought us so many experiences already, as with this vlog. Sailing Turkey is something magical even with the challenging weather. From one moment enjoying the sun to the next sheltering from storm - the winter weather keeps on going even in spring. Luckily we are finding anchorage along the Turkey coast - The Seven Islands. Sailing in winter and especially sailing Mediterranean Sea in winter isn't easy we already had to shelter from heavy winds and find shelter from waves several times. The heavy weather in Mediterranean Sea can be a challenge for our family sailing but extremely confident with our Beneteau 57 sailing yacht.

At the time our Ben was stil little (he is now 15), we ware sailing with our family of 4 on a 82mtr cargo ship of our own. Shipping cargo between the netherlands and mostly Turkey and vice versa with the family on board. We've sold that business/ship, and are planning to come back ones to really explore the Turkisch coast and all those other Med countries we've visited then, but now in a sailing yacht. Untill than, whe are just "boarding" your adventures untill we can start our own. Nice and relaxing episode again!
