Chipotle CEO admits some restaurants were skimping on portion sizes

After weeks of denying social media accusations, the CEO of Chipotle now says the fast food chain can do a better job with 'portion sizes' on its food.

As if an employee at ANY restaurant would skimp unless they were told to. It's not THEIR money. And keeping customers happy avoids confrontations that they would then need to deal with. CEOs are in ivory towers, never having to take the heat for bad decisions by corporate.

Where I live the Chipotles are horrendous. Filthy, a list on the door of ingredients they’re out of. Workers yell at customers…They also need to reiterate safe food handling. What happened? I used to love Chipotle.

Chipotle is skimping on cleanliness. Every time I’m in a Chipotle, the food assembly area looks like toddlers threw food around hours earlier and it’s dried out a mess. I hardly ever go there unless I’m dragged there by a family member. Chipotle has a lot of headwinds.

I watched a server give a large guy a huge amount of meat after they spoke the same language and joked around. When it was my turn I got 1/4 the meat the other guy got. I felt they gave my potion to the other guy. I never went back. These servers definitely need retraining.

Ordered Chipotle last night, and they skimped. My location does it on a basis of interactions. You talk to them, you get a normal portion, ignore them, and you get an Oliver Twist portion. The whole affair is a twisted mess 😭😭
