Recently the honourable CM of Karnataka Shri Bommai asked the Mudaliar community of Bengaluru to start educational institutions in Karnataka. Mudaliars of Karnataka were instrumental in setting up various infrastructure projects, building educational institutions, hospitals and were one of the first to set the trend of real estate investment. According to some rough estimate, Mudaliars own real estate value of around 50000 crores all over Karnataka and prime properties in the city. Interestingly, the community is not number one in the field as others have overtaken. Most of the second, third generation moved to academics and migration to abroad.

Mudaliar Community was one of the most respected community which does Buisness and Agriculture as their prime profession in TN, AP & Karnataka borders and also litrates, philanthropic acts are abundant in most of the southern states. This Community is not Greedy or arrogant, not arrogant in self pride etc... they live peacefully and in a dignified manner. After TN Annadurai, Mudaliar community is sidelined in politics by both DMK & ADMK in TN politics. The people belongs to this community are now scattered due to profession & migration.
