How Did Lakshman Didn't Sleep For 14 Years?

according to Ramayana, Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Ram, was an ardent devotee of his lord. He spent 14 years without sleeping in order to serve Lord Ram.

Even though meghnad was unbeatable, but lakshman being an incarnation of shesha naag himself was superior than him.
On the 3 rd day of conflict between meghnad and ram, lakshman after lakshman disturbing the yagya of meghnad. At this moment, meghnad goes to Ravan and tells him that ram and lakshmana are avatars of superior gods, he advises ravan to return Sita maa to Ram with all due honour and respect, after knowing the fact that these are Gods himself they are fighting against, although ravan disagrees, ultimately meghnad bids him a final goodbye.

On this same day's end, meghnaad got beheaded by lakshman's anjalikastra !!!

This ultimately proved and showed the world, how Powerful shesha naag was !!

People who question our scriptures like how could a man sleep for 14 years just say that these are stories. Okay i admit these are stories but look at these beautiful stories made thousands of years ago by great Rishis to teach us morality and good lessons. We must cherish and respect these things.
