The Kisuke and Aizen dynamic is my favorite in the whole show. They are beautifully written.

Urahara and Aizen are two sides of the same coin. They both figured out the truth of the world they live in, and while Urahara was content to let things continue, Aizen was enraged that he was ruled over by a corpse in the sky

The fact that Aizen and Urahara were talking about the mangled corpse in the sky and what it implies is baffling, this was like 11 years ago, we only got to know about it in 2017 on the CFYOW novel.

What impressed me the most about this exchange was that Aizen referred to the soul king as 'that thing'. Because who know by what means he discovered that the sk was just a corpse up in the sky, as if everything in the universe bowed down to a piece of dead meat and that's what enraged him the most, and the fact that Urahara didn't do a thing about it even though he would be even more suited to do so. Though Urahara doesn't have the malice that Aizen does.

I like how Aizen was written. One of the best anime characters in anime history. I’ll never forget him stopping Ichigo theme song LMFAOOOO.

To summarise from book 1 to 3 of the LN, Aizen is an existence between good and evil he wants to change the world by himself at the same time he also wants to rule over it. Urahara can change the world but chooses to remain on the neutral side by not taking any action . However he still doesn't like the idea of someone being sacrificed to stabilize the world. He stated that no one deserves such a fate.

This is one of the reasons he refused to recreate the hogyoku and give it to ichigo during the war even though he really could change the outcome if he does so. Urahara don't want Ichigo to suffer the same fate as the previous soulking considering the fact that soul society was actually filled with alot of corrupt people rather than the good one. Ichibei is the worst of all.

Honestly I feel like Aizen is in the right here. What they did to the Soul King is not only humiliating but downright disgusting considering that he was the one who brought all of life together, because, before him, the world was nothing. Life or death didn't even exist until him. To be betrayed that way is just horrible in my opinion

I love how urahara kinda looks down a little sad when aizen asks him if he’s alright without overthrowing. You can tell he’s thought the same things as aizen, but was able to choose against it

Spoilers-
Huge spoilers-

So here we see Aizen as the villain who wanted to replace Soul King because he thought he was better. But what he actually means is more like "How can you live on, knowing the truth about that thing". Because in reality, soul king is not a king but a tool, a corpse that was chopped off by the 5 noble families in order to secure themselves after the soul king sacrificed himself in order to bring balance to the world by seperating it to 3 different worlds and starting the life cycle. But Aizen knew about this corruption of Soul society and did not want to turn an eye to this. He empathized with the Soul King and wanted this corrupted system to end.

I found interresting that in the original concept Kubo had, Aizen and Kisuke were supposed to be swapped, with Kisuke after broughting Ichigo to Soul Society to be revealed to be the great villain, and Aizen to have stayed dead, by him nonethless.

The *Mighty 'Editor'* however convinced Kubo to switch things around, and it was probably for the best. This happened in the middle of the production of the Soul Society arc in the manga.

Well, if you were wondering why Kisuke had such a "creepy" vibe, and why ONLY in the start, now you know.

When you realized the the whole Bleach season back then was just all about Aizen vs. Urahara and Ichigo and the rest are just pawns for their war

Urahara kisuke: Has the ability to reach perfection but doesn't

Mayuri kurotsuchi: strives for perfection but hates it

Aizen Sosuke: Reached perfection then realized what he wanted was to be normal

Perfection is the end where there is nothing else to strive for, akin to death

Urahara is the only one who makes Aizen lose his composure.

People always talked about how great of a Villian Aizen was and that's true, but i just couldn't help but think that Urahara would've been as menacing if he were to happened to go the same dark path as Aizen. These two are on par with each other for me, they're what each other would've become if they chose to be good/bad. Two sides of the same coin.

Can't tell you have many times i've replayed this one. AIzen is probably one of the coolest villains in anime history. And the music, combined with the amazing voice acting, back story and the sadness in Urahara's eyes, almost makes you sympathize somewhat with Aizen.

Bleach is my favourite anime for a reason, every action in Bleach has its results and consequences. The main antagonists of Bleach are great written characters and i just can't stop enjoying this anime

Aizen - the only one who can blow up Urahara’s mind
Urahara - the only one who can break Aizen’s plan

You can tell how much aizen respected urahara but hated him for being subservient to a mindless god.

Maybe we can see more of Aizen and the Soul King during the upcoming Hell's arc

how do people watch this scene and still completly misunderstand Aizen's character, like a bunch of his quote literally are built so well for this moment("admiration is the furthest thing from understanding", the entire "how gods are born" speech with his take on trusting others and people seeking someone higher than them that have more responsbilities and the quoate abt truth).
