Chrome Extensions: User Agent Switcher

Hello and welcome to the CommITism channel!

This first video is showing you how to install a chrome extension called User Agent Switcher, this spoofs the browser into thinking its something else. In this case I needed to access a site that needed Internet Explorer 8 or greater, I installed this extension and now I can access the site in google chrome.

thanks for your video. Doing a little search for this and found your video. Im just about to start some mobile development so need a user agent switcher and as i like chrome you just helped me find it so cheers. P.S good to see you using the ubuntu special effects!! I love ubuntu been using it for years now and just hate the thought of windows!! YUKK!

Glad to hear the video was of use to you and nice to find another Ubuntu user! This is actually Netrunner based on Ubuntu 12.10, I got scared off by the amazon search results which are now an integral part of Ubuntu it would seem. Thanks for leaving a comment and if there's anything else that you might find helpful let me know, I'm planning on doing some reviews soon but I'd like to base them around people switching from that horrible operating system otherwise known as windows lol YUKK!
