I think of one woman who got away from me every time I hear this song. I was in my late teens, early 20's. I was not quite established yet financially. Still in college, working part time. She was here from Bulgaria to see her family for the summer. I met her where I worked. I could not pass up the opportunity to strike a conversation with this unique, beautiful looking woman. We hit it off from the start. We had a summer I will never forget. But I knew she had to go back to Bulgaria. I wished so bad I could make her stay, and marry her. But I did not have the means of doing so. I am 42 years old now, and still it haunts me that she is on the other side of the world. If I could go back in time I would of "Begged, stealed, or borrowed" what I needed to get her to stay. I hope she is safe, happy, and healthy. If only I could see her for 10 minutes to hold and tell her what my real intentions were way back when. Miss you always my Daniella !!!!
