Feel bad for Baker man, he balled out this year. He absolutely earned every cent of the contract the Bucs gave him. Im not even a Bucs fan but im rooting for Baker.

It has to be difficult for Mayfield seeing that the Bucs made it to the divisional round last season.

Why isn't anyone talking about the penalties or that weird center hike with everyone else still squatting. There were some coaching errors.

The wide-receiver sweep is a timing play where the ball must be hiked on a certain count, the wide-receiver must be at the location on that count and the QB can turn and make a clean hand off.

It didn't work. Lots of moving parts to the play. Graham Barton, the center, and Jalen McMillian, the wide-receiver, are first year rookies. Maybe it was too complex a call so soon after stopping Washington at the goal line in the closing minutes of a pressured game.

There will be plenty of interpretations on why it happened.

Baker, as the leader of the team and the QB responsible for executing the called play, took total responsibility for the fumble.
It's not the way the Bucs wanted to go out after such a stellar season; it takes a bit of the shine off the sparkle of Baker's individual achievements in 2024.

Bucs can't seem to win a game in prime time. Every time they get in front of the bright lights...they choke. It's officially an issue for the team.

Number 15 was a half a step beyond the mesh point when Baker tried to insert it his bread basket and the ball bounced off his side. Speed Kills! It sure did this time. Not all on Baker. Still hate to see Baker’s otherwise great game and playoff run end in a botched play. 😢

As a Lions' fan, I'm glad the Bucs lost. Otherwise we would have to host the Rams and that prima donna Stafford. Let the Eagles take care of the Rams in the divisional round.

The centre snapped it early Simms. Always hilarious listening to a guy that carried a clipboard in the NFL critiquing startling quarterbacks Chris Simms, was, is, and aways will be, such an NFL failure.

I think Baker's run was pretty outstanding.. this game wasn't lost by Baker.. the D just couldn't stop the Commodore's offense on 3rd and 4th downs.. THAT is what lost the game

On the fumble the rookie center was late snapping the ball and later in the Red zone he snapped the ball early screwing up a 3rd down and having to settle on a FG, I'm not saying it's the only reason but it contributed but in his defense this is his first year playing center

Great game by Daniels! Give this man his flowers 💐!! Tampa was better build for a playoff run. Take away that mistake and Baker played an incredible game too.

Baker lost the game with that fumble but refs rigged a no call dpi in the endzone the play before.
