That didn't take long to tear that apart. That front sprocket was toast!

you can use a screwdriver and hammer to get the flywheel off, take the bolt out, then pry up under it and hit the crankshaft with a hammer (not to to hard) then it should pop off after few hits, but don't pry up to much, you can crack / brake the flywheel

just did, where they get you is the shipping costs, which is about the same as the motor!

Thanks! I didn't really change much, i had planned on new rings which i did buy but it didn't really need them, new clutch and clutch housing, new gaskets and that was it really! it was less than 50 dollars, i got most of the parts from various people on ebay, another good place is scooterparts4less, thats a good place to deal with. thanks for watching!!!

I used Duplicolor engine paint, its rated for 500 degrees F, which it has dulled down from the heat, you really need at least a 1200 degree paint, like grill paint for painting barbecue grills or exhaust paint for cars. Another advantage with using engine paint is that gas won't dissolve it. Thanks for Watching!

Great video! do you happen to have the list of all the parts you changed? and if you remember how much did it cost you in total to rebuild it?

Sounds like it may be in the carburetor or the reed valve, usually when one runs good (or at all) on choke, its in the carburetor. Might just need cleaned, i did do a video on cleaning these carburetors. Thanks for Watching!!!
