I have to admit, and people might hate me for saying this, but as much as I love Johnny Depp, I think Mads should've been cast as Grindelwald from the start. His accent is far closer to what Grindelwald's should be (he's NOT British, as Depp made him), and he has fantastic chemistry with Jude Law.

i was always confused on why gellert was cleared of his charges world wide even though it was only the german minister who acquitted him. like why shouldnt his crimes still stand in america, europe, ect if it was only germany who cleared him.

i today found out that Anton Vogel was not only the german minister but also the supreme mugwump, which now makes more sense. im sure it was made clear in the movie and maybe i just missed it. idk
