dosent millspec just mean that it is the cheapest that they can get

Yet the last two Thinkpads I had for work failed under normal conditions, and one literally nearly burned my house down, was sitting on the table in front of me, started arcing internally and DID NOT STOP until I unplugged the charger. The OEM powersupply did not even shut down from the likely overcurrent event... If I had not been sitting there I bet my house would have been burned down. What a joke.

I have a HP laptop which is NIL-SPEC... with a N... nil, nada, zip... nil spec... can't even survive opening and closing of screen once a week... all the time resting on a table (at office) and cushion in car and air-conditioned spaces through and through...
